Drew and I are both still amazed at how smart and fast Jax learns! He's pretty close to being house trained, he is already crate trained, he sleeps in his crate at night without whining, and barks when he needs to go out instead of using the bathroom in his crate! And he's only 9 weeks old! We spend a lot of time with him and I think that makes a lot of difference. Drew comes home a few times a day to let him our and play with him. Drew has even brought him to work! He may be spoiled but he's definitely going to be well trained also. He's a little picky about his doggy treats, he'll eat about three of one kind and that's about it. But he loves his Diamond puppy chow, chicken, and raw ground beef. None of which we feed him off of our plates, we put it in a "treat" bag and he only get's one for good behavior. I've caught Drew reading "How to train for Jack Russell" a few times on his iPad. He is definitely taken with our newest addition, I can't wait for Andrew to meet my little Jaxy-Man on Tuesday! :)
He is so smart ... and uses his brains for good, not evil. Rigby could learn a few things. lol.
