Today I am thankful for my health insurance.
It's enrollment time at work and I am very thankful that I have health, dental, vision, life, short-term/long-term disability, and accidental insurance. I'm taking care of myself and if anything happens to me my family will be taken care of also. I'm a pretty healthy person so thankfully I don't even hit my yearly deductible, but it's nice to know that if I needed it I have it. It's hard for me to fathom walking around without health insurance yet so many people today do just that, and not only themselves but also their children. It's definitely money well spent and I'm lucky to work for a company who offers great benefits.
