So many wonderful things have happened this year! We built our beautiful home, we had our perfect wedding, followed by an amazing honeymoon, our wedding party was pretty perfect, Andrew started kindergarten, Drew opened a new business- And today I am absolutely thrilled to add to the list a career promotion!!
That's right I got the job!! I actually interviewed for it the day before we left for Canton. I was pretty nervous and I was going up against some really good candidates. Yesterday, management made me an offer and today it was officially announced that I am the new TS Production Specialist at Rhodia!! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present or a better way to wrap up a fabulous year! God is good...All the time!
While I'm looking forward to climbing the ladder in my career, I find that my excitement is somewhat bitter-sweet. My current coworkers are like family to me. I look forward to my work day even more knowing that I will see their faces. While I'll be moving to a different department and out of the lab, I know that I will be forever tied to my CathyVal family. :)
I am really looking forward to this opportunity and the doors it will open in my future!
