I finally made it out to the house to take some pictures yesterday. Our walls are painted, the doors are all hung, some of our light fixtures are hung, the cabinets have their first coat of paint, and the tile has been installed.
This is the accent wall in my library, the color is called Nervy Hue. On this wall will be my open backed book shelves- which means the color will only be seen in a few spots. :)
The sheet-rock guys did such a good job on the groin vault we decided to paint the ceiling and then we're going to do venetian plaster with a silver metallic accent. The technique is called Starry Night.

These cabinets came out of an old house in downtown Baton Rouge.
This coming week the drive way will be formed and poured, the floors will be finished, and the heating and air will be trimmed out. It's really coming together and the schedule says we should be in by June 15th!! Whoop, whoop! I'm so proud of my boo, Drew! He's done an amazing job.
